Abstract
Iliopsoas bursitis is defined as an inflammation and enlargement of the iliopsoas bursa. Symptoms are manifested in numerous ways such as anterior hip pain, snapping, inguinal mass, numbness, and leg swelling. The core symptom is pain in the groin and/or thigh. Here, we report an atypical case of iliopsoas bursitis compressing the femoral vein, which was manifested as ipsilateral leg swelling without pain and was successfully remedied by ultrasonography-guided steroid injections.
